Orbiso, Millana, Perino nail slots in Suzuki finals

MANILA, Philippines - Michael Orbiso of Racing Lion, Joven Millana of Vman Racing and Neil Perino of Suzuki BMR topped their respective divisions to clinch berths in the 2013 Suzuki Raider Breed Wars national finals in Manila in December.

The three Cebuano bets dominated the Suzuki Raider 150, Suzuki Underbone 115 and Suzuki Scooter 130 categories, respectively, in the 250, Battle of the Kings last Aug. 10 at the South Road Properties (SRP) in Sugbu, Cebu City.

The drag racing event was sanctioned by the National Motorcycle Sports and Safety Association (NAMSSA), which provides the proper and legal venue to all participating riders and drag racing enthusiasts.

Orbiso, Millana and Perino thus earned all-expense paid trip to the Suzuki RBW grand finals which stakes a top purse of P50,000.

Millana also finished second in the Suzuki Scooter 130 category with Fitzgerald Sangual placing third.

Anver Antonio, another VMan Racing bet, ended up runner-up in the Suzuki Raider 150 Category.  

Other podium finishers were Oliver John Aplaon of EDG Tire Recapping, Alvin Laspuna of Matoy Racing and Cris Antonio of SBU Riders.
