MANILA, Philippines - The best and brightest of the UAAP Season 75 will be aptly rewarded for their exploits on the basketball court game in and game out by major sponsor PSBank through its “Maasahan Player” awards.
“In return for the hard work the players put into every game, we continue to recognize their efforts because performing well on the hard court and in school is not an easy task,” said PSBank marketing and communications group head/VP Dona Arcilla.
PSBank hands out two major individual plums at the end of the year – the PSBank Maaasahan Player of the Season (MVP) and PSBank Maaasahan Finals MVP – in addition to the PSBank “Maaasahan Player,” “Strong Power Moves” every game. The bank also sponsors “Maaasahan Assists” per outing.
The PSBank Maaasahan Finals MVP is given to the best performer in the finals round while the PSBank Maaasahan Player of the Season is bestowed on the player who delivered a consistently excellent performance throughout the entire season.
On the other hand, the PSBank Maaasahan Player of the Game is given to the best player who makes the crucial plays and scores the winning baskets. Players will be chosen based on game statistics and votes from the team, UAAP officials and the media.
The said awards carry corresponding cash prizes: P100,000 for the PSBank Maaasahan Player of the Season; P30,000 for the PSBank Maaasahan Finals MVP; and P5,000 . All prizes will be credited to their PSBank Debit Card accounts which they can use to dine and shop in MasterCard-affiliated restaurants and shops.
