MANILA, Philippines - Unbeaten prospect Joan Imperial shows his ware on primetime TV as Rod Nazario’s In This Corner airs his latest fight tonight over NBN-4.
The 7-8 p.m. top rating boxing program presented by Ginebra San Miguel, San Miguel Beer, Purefoods, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) and Petron, will feature Imperial against Jovel Romasasa in a 10-round fight set at the minimumweight class.
Imperial, 25, from Muntinlupa City, has won his first seven fights as a pro, including 2 by KOs.
The bout served as a supporting fight in the recent Orient Pacific Boxing Federation (OPBF) super-featherweight encounter between Ronald Pontillas and Jun Talape.
Rod Nazario’s In This Corner presented the boxing card in cooperation with Muntinlupa City mayor Aldrin San Pedro, businessman Desmond Malic, and D.S. Almario International Promotions.
