Philflex tops ABC team event

MANILA, Philippines - Philflex Wires and Cables, composed of Zeny Prudente, Juan Mendoza and Manny Padit, pooled 2439 pinfalls to capture the Architects Bowling Club team event crown at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig City last week.

Bert Magsakay, Cynthia Tan and Noel del Rosario of Duraflex assembled 2417, Tony Naval, Paul Ayson and Hermie Prudente of Crown Pipes scored 2369 and Kathlyn Ong, Ryan Jalandoon and Charles Matiling of HCG Phils. made 2352 to finish second, third and fourth, respectively, in the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.

Meanwhile, Del Rosario, the ABC president, is inviting all licensed architects to join the tournament held every Tuesday as ABC braces for its 34th anniversary bash in Bangkok in May.

Action in the event, backed by Unitec Pipes, SP&A Const., ABC Phils., Firefly-Royu, American Wires, Emerald Vinyl, Medwest Tech. Inst., Universal Tech./Pansun, Atlanta Tiles, Euro Dach, Ta-tong, ProActive Pest Control, Supreme Pipes Corp., Boysen Konstruct/Knoxout/Virtuoso, DN Steel, Famcor and Concrete Ventures, resumes at 6:30 tonight with the staging of a bowling clinic by Phl bowling team members and fun games, also at the Green Valley lanes.
