Chana cars staked in UAP golf

MANILA, Philippines - Two units of 2010 Chana Benni 1.3L M/T cars will be staked as hole-in-one prizes in the ninth UAP (United Architects of the Phils.) Golf Cup tournament on Oct. 18 at Sun Valley Golf Club in Antipolo.

Organizers of the event said the brand-new cars will be up for grabs on all par-3s.

The UAP Golf Cup, sponsored by Davies Paints, Emerald Vinyl Corp. and Neltex Dev’t. Corp., Inc., is an annual event put up in 2002 to help fund the completion of the UAP national headquarters.

Other backers of the event are Davies Paints, Emerald Vinyl Corp. and Neltex Dev’t. Corp., Inc., Atlanta Industries, Inc. and H-Chem Industries.

Meanwhile, UAP national president Ramon Mendoza heads the organizing committee that includes Jose Siao Ling, chairman, ways and means; Adones Baluyut, project chairman; Simeon Tan, tournament chairman and UAP immediate past national president, Ana Mangalino-Ling. Eusthenes Lu, Wilson Sioco, Joenel Kho, chair, finance; Jocelyn Arcenas, chair, press relations; Alejandro Cua, Gene Arthur Co, chair, rules and regulations; and Cipriano Cruz, chair, prizes and awards.
