Padit, 2 others rule ABC bowl
MANILA, Philippines - Manny Padit of Philflex Cables rolled a six-game series of 1372 to bag the Group I crown, Bibs Luzande of Unitec Pipes ruled Group 2 with a 1304 while Rocky Borja of Concrete Ventures annexed the Group 3 plum with a 975 in the Architects Bowling Club’s monthly championship at the Green Valley lanes in Pasig last week.
Jun Cheng of SP&A Const. scored 1335 while Romi de Jesus of Toto made a 1272 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group I of the weekly event sponsored by Boysen and Nation Paints.
May Sabater of Atlanta Pipes rolled 1111 and Joey del Rosario of American Wires had a 1095 for second and third, respectively, in Group 2 while Vic Sison of Philflex Wires came up with a 973 and Kathlyn Ong of Ta-Tong had a 972 to finish second and third, respectively, in Group 3.
Meanwhile, action in the event, backed by Famcor, DN Steel, Boysen Knoxout/Konstruct/Virtuoso, Crown Pipes, Supreme Steel Pipes Corp., ABC Phils., ProActive Pest Control, Duraflex, Euro Dach, Hocheng Phils., Universal Tech/Pansun, Medwest Tech. Inst., Emerald Vinyl and Firefly-Royu, resumes at 7 tonight with the staging of the second quarterly championship, also at the Green Valley lanes.
