MANILA, Philippines - Hannah’s Beach Resort, which sponsored the just-concluded Pagudpud interwater sports competition, is constructing a convention center at Barangay Balaoi, Pagudpud, Ilocos Norte in support of Northern Luzon’s tourism program.
Dubbed second Balaoi Interwater sports competition, the six-day event which ended yesterday, was organized by Hannah’s Beach Resort in cooperation with the Municipal Government of Pagudpud headed by Mayor Marlon Sales and Barangay Balaoi chairman Corazon Espejo. The beach is located in front of the famous Blue Lagoon (Maira-ira Beach).
The convention center, which is expected to be completed next month, can accommodate at least 350 visitors and guests. In support of the government’s thrust to promote tourism, the convention center is expected to boost tourism in the northern part of the region.
