Diminutive Ramon Retaga, Jr. exploded for 26 points, including 12 in the fourth quarter that secured the Dolphins fifth win in nine outings and a share of fourth place with their victims.
While the 5-foot-8 Retaga frolicked in the last period, the duo of Jason Castro and Gabriel Espinas set the motion for the rout.
Castro sizzled with 19 points despite playing decoy all-game as he dished off 12 assists while the high-leaping Espinas added 18 points on top of 11 rebounds, four blocks and two assists.
In the other game, San Beda outgunned host Perpetual Help in the fourth quarter as it hacked out a 66-52 victory to boost its Final Four bid.
Skipper Arjun Cordero fired 14 points as the Lions joined the Cardinals and the Dolphins at No. 4 spot on 5-4 slates.
It was the Altas second straight defeat and third overall against six wins.
"Were starting to get the feel of each other and Im happy were improving each game," said PCU coach Loreto "Ato" Tolentino.
"Hopefully, this could be the year were waiting for," he added referring to the Taft-based schools title-less run since its entry eight years ago.
Erwin Sta. Maria paced the Cardinals with 22 points, including 13 in the third period.
