Wow dumagsa sa Malacañang ang maraming bituin noong isang gabi. At kasama na ang inactive actor na si John Lloyd Cruz na nag-iba na talaga ang hitsura. Sa ini-upload na photo ni Sec. Bong Go.  During our chat last night I told the President that Ormoc used to be the Drug Capital Of Eastern Visayas and when I won as mayor upon his instruction and w the help of the police force and the Army we turned around Ormoc City to be Drug- cleared and was able to achieve the status of making it “The Safest City in the Philippines” in 2017 and 2018.

Last night I asked him to continue his support to make Ormoc Drug-free. He told me to continuously work it out w the Police force and the Army to eliminate the drug problem and maintain Ormoc a safe city.

He also said that a city can only be drug cleared if the Mayor and the Police force do not want drugs in his area. True.”

 MMFF calendar nakalatag na

Konting panahon na lang at deadline na naman for submission of finished film entries (and other required documents including official trailer /  clippings / behind the scenes) ng mga sasaling pelikula sa Metro Manila Film Festival 2019. Yup this early, meron na silang festival calendar.

Naka-schedule na ito sa September 2 (Monday) para sa early bird at sa September 20, 2019 ang last day of submission.

Magaganap naman ang annoucement of the four official finished films entries on October 19, 2019 (Tuesday).

Sa bilis ng panahon, hindi natin namamalayan September na pala. I’m sure naghahanda na rin ang mga production company para sa mga isasali nilang pelikula.

Ang apat na official entries ay malalaman naman November 5, 2019 (Tuesday).

Siguro naman sa Pasko tapos na ang epekto ng Avengers : Endgame at mid term election at magkaka-oras na silang manood ng mga pelikula sa sinehan.

Ngayon kasi ay aligaga ang lahat sa eleksiyon sa Lunes. Though bawas na ang nanonood ng phenomenal movie na Avengers : Endgame, hindi pa rin naman lumikha ng matinding ingay ang tatlong pelikulang Tagalog na nagbukas sa mga sinehan kahapon na Man and Wife starring Jodi Sta. Maria and Gabby Concepcion; Sons of Sabel starring AiAi delas Alas with Ex Batallion and Tayo Sa Huling Gabi starring Nicco Manalo, Anna Luna and Alex Medina.

Sana nga kahit papaano ay umingay ang mga nabanggit na pelikula sa takilya ngayong weekend.
