1 patay, 2 sugatan sa pagbagsak ng helicopter ng kapulisan sa Quezon
MANILA, Philippines — Tatlong crew ng helicopter ng Philippine National Police (PNP) ang nadisgrasya sa Real, Quezon, Lunes ng umaga — ang isa sa kanila, tuluyan nang binawian ng buhay.
Ang helicopter na H125 Airbus (registry number na RP-9710) ay unang iniulat na nawawala matapos umalis ng 6:17 a.m. mula Manila Domestic Airport sa Pasay City. Papunta sana ito sa Northern Quezon para sa isang "administrative mission."
"We have just received an information from PNP SPOX [Col. Jean S. Fajardo na] confirmed Dead yung Patrolman [Pat Allen Noel U Ona]," wika ni PBgen. Roderick Augustus Alba, hepe ng PNP public information office, sa panayam ng Philstar.com.
Una nang ibinalitang nasa kritikal na kondisyon si Ona.
Samantala, kasama sa mga na-rescue sa crash site ang piloto at co-pilot na sina PLTCOL Dexter Vitug at PLTCOL Michael Melloria. Kasalukuyan silang nilalapatan ng lunas sa isang pribadong ospital sa Infanta, Quezon.
Sinasabing dumating ang rescue teams ng PNP, Bureau of Fire Protection at lokal na pamahalaan sa Barangay Pandan, Real, Quezon bandang 8:05 a.m.
Tinatayang nasa 30 kilometro mula sa town proper ng Real, Quezon ang crash site kung saan umuulan noon, ayon sa PNP Command Center.
"The PNP National Headquarters has grounded the entire fleet of H125 Airbus Police helicopters while an investigation is underway in coordination with [Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines], [Department of Transportation] and other concerned agencies," dagdag pa ng PNP-PIO.
