Rico, may kaba sa concert sa Araneta

Masayang-masaya si Rico Blanco dahil muling makapagko-concert sa Araneta Coliseum pagkalipas ng maraming taon.

Gaganapin sa Sept. 11 ang Rico Blanco solo concert kung saan ay magiging espesyal na panauhin sina Zild Benitez at Ebe Dancel. “I am happy to announce that I will be back at the Araneta Coliseum for a concert. It’s been a while since I performed there, and I think for everyone it’s been a while na makanood ulit tayo ng mga concert sa mga ganitong venue. Unti-unti tayong bumabalik sa concert scene. We started sa bars, then medium-sized venues. So I’m happy to announce na we’re starting to do this in big venues again,” nakangiting pahayag ni Rico.

Aminado ang singer-songwriter na nakararamdam ng kaba kung kayang punuin ng labinglimang libong manonood ang napakalaking venue. Isang malaking hamon para kay Rico kung dudumugin na ng mga tao ang naturang concert.

“The pandemic situation is still around. And we’re starting to somehow live with it by changing our lifestyles a lot to accommodate and to be safe. There’s a lot of uncertainty. I feel that concerts are a pro­duct of habit. Going out is a habit, the lifestyle of going out. Going out to restaurants and concerts is a habit. This is not the height of people going out.

“But we also know that people are really hungry to experience live music again in this way. So we’ll try and just go for it. It’s part of my career anyway, to try things for the first time. I’ve always seen challenges as opportunities to bring about new things and new way of doing things,” makahulugang pahayag ng dating bokalista ng Rivermaya.

Belle, natututo sa bashers

Hindi na bago para kay Belle Mariano ang pagkakaroon ng online bashers.

Hanggang maaari ay hindi na lamang umano pinapatulan ng aktres ang mga ito sa social media. “Social media can be challenging at times because of all the bashing and hate comments people deal with on these platforms. What I do is take all valid criticism in a constructive way. So I can grow and learn from them. Working amidst the pandemic comes with a lot of challenges but I’m always grateful for every opportunity to do what I love and showcase my talents,” paliwanag ni Belle.

Katatapos pa lamang ng iWantTFC series na He’s Into Her Season 2 na pinagbidahan nina Belle at Donny Pangilinan. Malaki ang pasasalamat ng dalaga sa lahat ng mga tagahanga ng tambalang DonBelle na talaga namang hindi bumitaw mula pa noong season 1 ng serye. “I really appre­ciate it when I read comments or tweets about how my character in project touches them or inspires people because of my performance. These comments give me a sense of fulfillment and empower me to work harder. I know I can’t thank them enough because of all the love and support they have showered me over the past year,” paglalahad ng dalaga.

Kasalukuyang nasa Amerika ngayon si Belle para sa Beyond The Stars: The Star Magic US Concert Tour na gaganapin sa New York ng Aug. 6, Aug. 12 sa San Francisco at Aug. 14 naman sa Los Angeles. (Reports from JCC)
