Wow congrats kafatid na Noel Ferrer. Certified recording artist na ang talent manager, multi-media producer writer and broadcaster.

Ginawa niya ng revival ang Can’t Help Wond’ring Why na sinulat na kanta nina Mrs. Emmy and Maestro Ryan Cayab­yab para sa Singaporean artist along time ago at ni-record ni Dessa two years ago for her album Gonna Make Yur Day Tonight pero hindi masyadong na-promote dahil naka-baby na ang magaling na singer.

Ngayon ay ni-revived/binuhay ni Noel para sa kanyang 50th birthday.

 “As the song title says, I myself can’t help wondering why I had this urge to record. I was probably inspired by the success of the Pinoy Playlist Music Festival that Maestro Ryan Cayabyab, Moy Ortiz and I did with the BGC Arts Center Foundation last October that I told Mrs. C (Emmy) that I wanted to record her song,” ayon kay Noel na isa ring educator  na bukod sa Pinoy Playlist ay sinimulan din ang dalawa pang annual activities - Noel@Avellana na isang  Christmas exhibit that runs from December 1 to January 6 at the Avellana Art Gallery at 2680 FB Harrison St. Pasay City (inside the Henry Hotel compound); at ang The First Noel free Christmas concert sa Arete, the newest posh theater at the Ateneo de Manila sa kanyang mismong birthday sa December 11. Mapapanood sa nasabing concert sina Joanna Ampil, Arman Ferrer, Baihana,  with the Ateneo Chamber Si­ngers, Bukaspalad, Hangad, Dulaang Sibol with Gabe Mercado, Gel Basas, Atom Araullo, Iza Calzado, Jay Durias, Noel Caba­ngon and The Company and a lot more surprise guests.

 Nag-commit na rin siya para sa  multi-artists-community edition of Louie Ocampo’s election advocacy song Sana Naman, Taumbayan and other crossover productions.

So baka naman mapabayaan na niya ang career niya sa pagpasok sa nasabing advocacy project? “Not really, it’ll be more of a house cleaning and a year to focus on something more meaningful. I want to concentrate on significant artists and projects and less of the factory work. I just want to establish premium,” stressed Noel.

Anyway ang version niya ng  Can’t Help Wond’ring Why with Khiana Noshka (Dessa’s daughter) and the Filipino version  Bakit Hindi  with Noel featuring Dessa translated by no less than National Artist for Literature Bienvenido Lumbera ay mada-download sa Spotify, iTunes and other social media stores starting today, December 11.
