Ang mga Most Outstanding Swimmer awardees kasama ang mga winning coaches sa 153rd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series - DPS Class C and Motivational Swim Meet na ginanap sa DPS swimming pool sa Quezon City. (Chris Co)

MANILA, Philippines — Nasungkit ng host team Diliman Preparatory School (DPS) ang overall championship crown sa 153rd Philippine Swimming League (PSL) National Series - DPS Class C and Motivational Swim Meet na ginanap sa DPS swimming pool sa Quezon City.

Nanguna sa pagratsada sina Paula Carmela Cusing, Jahna Isabelle Caindoy at Eroa Jimenez na humakot ng mga gintong medalya para pamunuan ang DPS Blue Dragons sa pagkopo ng kampeonato.

Nakalikom si Cusing ng 60 puntos para makuha ang MOS award sa girls’ 15-over habang umani naman si Caindoy ng 80 puntos tungo sa matamis na pagsikwat sa MOS trophy sa girls’ 13-year class. Na­nguna rin si Jimenez sa girls’ 9-year division tangan ang 68 puntos.

Pumangalawa naman ang Great Swimmers Swim Team habang ikatlo ang Wesleyan College of Manila sa torneong suportado ni dating Sen. Nikki Coseteng.

Itinanghal ding MOS sa Motivational Division sina Sheena Magpantay (6-under), Mikaela Soleil Alonzo (7), Polina Shayne Reyes (8), Deina Randelle Arcilla (10), Allana Tolentino (11), Julia Gachalian (12), A­rienn Angeli Bernaldez (14) at Quinn Alyjane Tan Guat (15-over) sa girls; at sina Calix Boletche (6-under), Behrouz Mojdeh (7), Ike Deinniel Palomo (8), Juris Vivas (9), Khian Perales (10), Jhon Mark Jomlun (11), Gabriel David at Antonio Catangay (12), Jhon Victor Berenguel at Mark Andrew Hoover (13), at Christian Joseph Jao (15-over) sa boys.

Sa Class C, nanguna sa MOS winners sina Makati Sailfish Swim Team tankers Jhoenie Romulus Naife (boys’ 11-year), Kristine Avenido (girls’ 10-year) at Princess Moelter (girls’ 11-year).

Ang iba pang MOS winners ay sina Vilzon Corpuz (8), Sean Ezekiel Quides (9), Conan Perez (10), Juan Miguel Morco (12), Gabriel Joseph Jao (13), Jeric Cortez (14) at Zachie Gallegos (15-over) sa boys; at sina Euna Alindayu (8), Sophia Boco (9), Annalise Jandayan (12) at Kelsey Nobleza (14) sa girls.

“Even it is difficult for us to hold monthly competition for our newly found potential swimmers, we are keeping the program as our swimming community continue to multiply. Each month, more coaches and swimmers coming in to the PSL, coaches and parents realized that we have better and efficient programs to offer,” ani PSL President Susan Papa.
