21 tankers ginawaran ng MOS awards ng PSL

LUCENA CITY, Philippines — May 21 tankers ang ginawaran ng Most Outstanding Swimmer (MOS) awards sa 127th Philippine Swimming League (PSL) Natio­nal Series – Long Course Swimming Meet na gina­nap sa Alcala Sports Complex Swimming Pool.

Pinangunahan nina Marc Bryan Dula ng Wisen­heimer Academy (boys’ 10-year), Lee Grant Cabral ng Diliman Preparatory School (boys’ 11-year) at Ma­rion Margaret Del Moro ng Manuel Enverga University (girls’ 15-over) ang lista­han ng mga MOS winners matapos makumpleto ang sweep sa kani-kaniyang ka­tegorya.

Wagi rin sina Clara Maligat at Hannah Halamani (6-under), Arianne Zarsu­elo (7), Heleina Glorioso (8), Ehm Alavy-Chafi (9), Po­leen Corpuz (10), Danae Sar­miento (11), Jasmine Del Moro (12), Katherine Azo­res (13) at Christine De Luna (14) sa girls’ division.

Namayagpag naman sa boys’ class sina Gavin Guino (6-under), Lawrence Arabes (7), Agustin Men­doza (8), John Salinel (9), Yohan Cabana (12), John Rala (13), Jordan Lo­bos (14) at Mervier Miran­dilla (15-over).

Tatlong rekord ang na­itala sa edisyong ito mu­la kina Dula (50m backstroke, 35.80), Zarsuelo (200m freestyle, 7:21.50) at Arabes (200m freestyle, 5:03.13).

Itinanghal na overall champion ang Calayan Swimming Team na na­ka­­likom ng 726 puntos, ha­­bang pumangalawa la­mang ang Diliman Prepa­ratory School na may 523 kasunod sa ikatlo ang Ma­nuel Enverga University na naglista ng 480.

Pasok sa Top 10 ang Iba­long Magayon Aquagliders, Dolphin Swimming Club of Lucban, Batangas Killer Whale, Susan Papa Swim Academy, Mabalacat City Flying Barracudas, Im­maculate Conception School of Baliuag at Jesus The Risen Savior School.

“We’re happy to announce that there are swim­mers who met the qua­lifying marks for our in­ternational competitions. Af­ter reviewing the records, we will be announcing the names of qualifying swimmers in the coming days,” pa­hayag ni PSL President Susan Papa.
