“The Battle of Brisbane only happened with the strong financial support of Brisbane City Council,” sabi ni Brisbane Lord Mayor Graham Quirk sa panayam ng News Corp. “I need to know we definitely have a fighter coming from the Philippines to fight Brisbane’s world champion Jeff Horn and I need to know that fighter is Manny Pacquiao.”

“So we’re fighting hard to get it, we’re in Jeff Horn’s corner, and it’s about time the lord mayor made it clear - is he supporting this rematch or is he not?” ani Palaszczuk.

“We don’t know at this time and I’m withdrawing any financial support until Manny fronts up and tells us his intentions,” ani Quirk.
