MANILA, Philippines — Nakatakda nang magpatupad ng adjusted work hours sa lahat ng kanilang tanggapan ang pamahalaang lungsod ng Maynila at San Juan, alinsunod na rin sa Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) Resolution No. 24-08, series of 2024, na inilabas ng Metro Manila Council (MMC).
Ayon kina Manila Mayor Honey Lacuna at San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora, sisimulan nilang ipatupad ang 7:00AM-4:00PM adjusted work hours sa kani-kanilang nasasakupan simula sa Mayo 2.
“Opo.
“I have issued Executive Order No. FMZ-168 adjusting the work hours in all offices of the City Government of San Juan from 7:00am to 4:00pm effective May 2, 2024,” ani Zamora.
“This is in compliance with MMDA Resolution No. 24-08, Series of 2024 which introduces a standardized working schedule of government offices in Metro Manila to help alleviate traffic congestion,” dagdag pa niya.
“All government offices under the Local Government Units located in the National Capital Region shall adopt a modified working schedule from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.,” nakasaad pa sa resolusyon. “In the implementation thereof, the local government units located in the [NCR] are hereby enjoined to enact their respective ordinances.”
