72-hour emergency kits ipinamahagi ng Makati LGU
MANILA, Philippines — Tumanggap ang nasa 8,232 empleyado ng Makati City Hall ng libreng 72-hour emergency kits upang mapalakas ang kanilang katatagan at matiyak na tuluy-tuloy lang ang serbisyo kapag may sakuna.
Sinabi ni Mayor Abby Binay na prayoridad na mabigyan nito ang mga city workers na nasimulan noong nakaraang taon sa mga frontliners na aktibo sa COVID-19 response operations.
“We want to ensure that our frontliners and other city hall personnel are well-equipped not only to survive, but to continue provi-ding critical services to Makatizens even during emergencies,” ani Mayor.
“We need to take care of our work force and build their resilience to any kind of crisis, if we are to continuously serve our constituents amid this pandemic and other disasters that may occur,” paliwanag niya.
Ang emergency kits ay sapat sa 3-araw para sa isang indibiduwal na maka-survive habang naghihintay ng rescuers.
Nilalaman ng emergency kits ang 5 moist towelettes, 2 water pouches, 2 ‘12-hour light sticks’, isang food bar, isang thermal blanket, isang N95 Respirator Mask, isang ID card holder na may lanyard at isang emergency card.
