Alert level sa Metro Manila, ibinaba

MANILA, Philippines – Ibinaba sa “heightened alert” ang status sa Metro Manila kahapon tatlong araw makaraan ang madugong pambobomba sa Indanan, Sulu.

Sinabi ni National Capital Regional Police Office (NCRPO) chief, P/Major General Guillermo Eleazar, ang pagbaba sa alert status mula sa “full alert” ay ibinase niya sa balidasyon at konsultayon sa iba pang mga “law enforcement agencies” at sa military.

Sa kabila na wala namang namo-monitor na banta sa Kamaynilaan buhat sa mga terorista, hindi pa umano dapat mag-relax ang kapulisan kaya kailangan pa rin ng mahigpit na pagbaban­tay sa 24 na oras.

“While the recent Jolo bombing case is being probe, we cannot relax our guard. Thus, all Unit and Station Commanders, are strictly reminded to continue to secure all PNP Headquarters and offices, vital installations, economic key points and places of convergence to guarantee that public safety concerns are checked and thoroughly supervised,” ayon kay Eleazar.
