BBM nakakuha ng grassroots support sa 14,600 konsehal sa bansa

MANILA, Philippines — Nagpahayag ng solidong suporta sa BBM-Sara UniTeam sa darating na halalan sa Mayo 9 ang 14, 600 sa 17,177 konsehal sa mga munisipalidad at lungsod sa bansa.

Sa isang simpleng programa sa BBM headquarters sa Mandaluyong, dinala ng mga opisyal ng Philippine Councilors League (PCL) ang kanilang pirmadong manifesto of support para sa kandidatura nina presidential frontrunner Ferdinand ‘Bongbong’ Marcos Jr., at running mate na si Inday Sara Duterte.

“Securing 85 percent support from the 17,177 municipal and city councilors nationwide favo­ring Bongbong Marcos for president and Inday Sara Duterte for vice president on the May 9, 2022 elections is sufficient to declare that majority of the legislators in our country prefer the BBM-Sara tandem that can further propel the reign of the next national government administration,” ayon sa statement of support na nilagdaan nina Konsehal Danilo Dayanghirang, PCL Chairman at Konsehal Nelson Sala, PCL President.

“The BBM-Sara imminent victory is greatly considered an opportunity by the PCL to push for its many governance advocacies securing more special benefits can cascade down the grassroots not only for the good of the PCL members but also for the Filipino people in general. These 14, 600 councilors strongly believe that BBM-Sara will champion local governance initiatives while in the national level,” dagdag pa nito.

Malugod namang tinanggap ni dating MMDA chair Benhur Abalos Jr., campaign manager ni Marcos, ang pagbibigay ng suporta ng PCL.
