Carla at Tom, noon pa nakakaramdam ng pressure sa kasal
Inamin ng engaged couple na sina Carla Abellana at Tom Rodriguez, na-pressure sila noon na ma-engage ng mga tao sa paligid nila. Pero nasa plano na ni Tom na mag-propose kay Carla, kailangan daw ay perfect timing lahat.
“I admit I was getting a lot of it. At first, I would feel that pressure years back. Buti na lang, I was blessed enough to have people around me who give me the advice na huwag magpa-pressure agad. Ang sarap din na mabasa ang messages nila and to see how they are reacting because it is very well intended kaya how can you think badly or put a negative connotation on something that stemming from a place of love,” sey ni Tom.
Sey naman ni Carla: “Alam naming kasama sila sa mga nagdasal talaga. They only want what’s best for Tom and me. We are very happy that they are happy for us. Thank you to all our fans all over the world. Kasama sila sa mga nagpressure but we are glad na nabigyan namin sila ng good news. Okay ‘yun lalo na sa panahon ngayon, kailangan nating maging happy.”
Sa October 23, 2021 na magaganap ang classic-style church wedding sa San Guillermo Parish in Talisay, Batangas.
Sa ngayon ay magkahiwalay sina Carla at Tom dahil sa lock-in taping ng teleserye nila na The World Between Us at To Have and To Hold.
Rabiya at Miss India, hindi nawalan ng komunikasyon
In touch pa rin sina Miss Universe Philippines 2020 Rabiya Mateo at Miss Universe India 2020 Adline Castelino. Naging BFFs sila during the pageant.
Kapwa pumasok sa Miss Universe 2020 Top 21 sina Rabiya at Adline. At the end of the pageant, naging 3rd runner-up si Miss India.
Kahit tapos na ang pageant, may communication pa rin sina Rabiya at Adline. Naging malapit si Rabiya kay Adline dahil ang biological father niya ay Indian. “You were always the bravest! If God had given you the toughest journey, he has also given you the brightest mind and a forgiving heart. You will always be remembered. The story hasn’t ended but just began,” sey ni Adline kay Rabiya.
Patuloy na nagse-share ng photos at videos ang dalawang beauty queens kahit matagal nang natapos ang pageant. Kasalukuyang nasa US pa si Rabiya at nasa bansang India na si Adline.
