Pat P. malinaw magpaliwanag

Well, who doesn’t know Pat P Daza, or not heard about her.

After all, Monday to Friday, napapanood at naririnig siya sa teleradyo ng DZMM, hosting the program Dos Por Dos with equally competent Peter Musngi.

They don’t discuss issues pertaining only to showbiz lang, which is Pat P’s expertise, at everything under the sun.

Ang nakakatuwa pa at kahanga-hanga, Pat P and Peter do it in a way na maiintindihan ng kanilang mga karaniwang tagapakinig at ang kahit mga isyung nasyonal na kanilang tinatalakay.

Halimbawa, ang isyu kung paano na hit ang ating bayan ng African Swine Fever na dahilan kung bakit, as much as possible, hindi na uso lalo’t sa mahihirap, ang mag-ulam ng karneng baboy.

Well, ang ganda at napaka-simple ng paliwanag na ginawa both nina Pat P at Peter sa isyung ito. So much so, balik kami sa pag-aalaga ng baboy ng mga kamag-anak namin sa Botolan, Zambales.

At least daw, may mga bumibili nang muli ng kanilang binibentang baboy.

Well, Pat P’s latest accomplishment is that she now writes a column, Razzle-Daza, sa entertainment section ni Ricky Lo sa Philippine Star. You should read it, Salve A.

Why we mentioned na expert sa usapang showbiz si Pat P is because she once served as head of public relations and publicity ng ABS-CBN Entertainment at Star Cinema, at head din ng adprom of both companies.

Dagdag na kaalaman tungkol kay Pat P, her Mom, Julie Yap-Daza is a well-known and respected journalist who also regularly writes a column for both a kilalang broadsheet and tabloid.

Julie wrote a book, Etiquette for Mistresses, which Star Cinema adapted into a movie starring Kris Aquino, Kim Chiu at Claudine Barretto.

Of Julie, she has two children with her second husband, na kilalang politician, from whom she is now separated.

Ella tinanggi na kasal na kay Julian!

May kissing scene pala ang 15 year-old na si Louise Abuel sa pelikulang Edward, where he plays the title role, with Ella Cruz na kanyang leading lady. Ella is 23 years old.

How torrid? Louise was asked.

“Well, kayo ang mag-judge, after you’ve watched the movie,” sagot ng binatilyo.

One of the busiest talents ng Viva Films, Ella is now starring with Carlyn Ocampo in the outfit’s TV series, Sisters. Her real-life boyfriend, Julian Trono, is her leading man.

By the way, Ella denies report na secretly married na sila ni Julian.

Showtime maraming pakulo at papremyo sa 10th anniversary

Something to watch, Salve A., ang iba’t ibang pakulo ng It’s Showtime which is celebrating its 10th year this October.

Magko-compete ang hosts na sina Anne Curtis, Amy Perez, Bidaman Top 6, Jugs Jugueta, Teddy Corpuz, Ate Girl Jackie, Ion at Stephen, Karylle, Ryan Bang and the GT (Girl Trends), Vice Ganda and the top three queens of the Miss Q&A plus Vhong Navarro, Jhong Hilario and Hashtags.

Belated happy birthday nga pala kay Vir Gonzales, fellow columnist namin dito sa PM (Pang-Masa), who turned a year older last September 30.

Almost 35 years na pala silang kasal ng kanyang misis na si Ledesma. When they got married, Vir had got his best man, actor Dante Rivero.

The couple have only son, John Henry, who works abroad.
