Lani walang pinagsisisihan sa pag-aasawa ng maaga

Lani walang pinagsisisihan sa pag-aasawa ng maaga

Lani Mercado, currently the Mayor of Bacoor City, is turning 50 exactly on April 13.

She married her husband, former Senator Bong Revilla, when she was 17, at si Bong naman is about to turn 19 that time.

“I’d say, wala akong regret that I married young at ang napang-asawa ko ay si Bong. He is not just a good husband but an ideal father too to our children.

“Where my married life is concerned, I cannot ask for more. More especially dahil dininig ng Maykapal ang dasal naming mag-anak na malinis na ang pangalan ni Bong tungkol sa plunder case he was accused of. And which for nearly five years, na-detain siya sa Custodial Center ng PNP.

“Talagang totoo ang kasabihang truth will out, no matter what,” susog pa ni Mayor Lani.

Like husband Bong, who is seeking for re-election in the May 2019 election, Lani, too, is running again as Bacoor City Mayor.

Sa katatapos na 92nd birthday celebration ng Daddy ni Bong na si former action star-turned-politician Ramon Revilla, Bong and Mayor Lani, plus their mga anak at apo, were a picture of a happy family.

Sayang nga raw at wala ang dalawa sa kanilang mga anak, si Inah Revilla, who is now married and pregnant with her third child, who lives with her own family in Davao City, and their youngest son, Ram Revilla, na nag-aaral sa America.

Sa nabanggit na event nga pala, Bong and Lani’s second son, Cavite Vice Governor Jolo Revilla, who himself is running for re-election, came with his much-publicized new girlfriend, beauty queen, Angelica Alita.

Mukhang mabait at maganda naman si Angelica. She would make a good politician’s wife.

Vice Jolo was formerly in a romance with actress Jodi Sta. Maria.

Just the same raw, he doesn’t regret having attended the event. He was present daw when the judges previewed Kuya Wes.

Well, asahan nating magpapatuloy si Ogie sa paggawa ng movie, both as an actor and producer.

Meanwhile, busy siya – as is, dahil bukod sa pag-promote ng Kuya Wes, which is opening in theaters nationwide on March 13, busy siya bilang isa sa judges ng Tawag Ng Tanghalan (TNT) sa It’s Showtime, and of course, his weekly sitcom, Home Sweetie Home, co-starring him with Piolo Pascual, Toni Gonzaga, Sandy Andolong, Miles Ocampo, Jobert Austria, Empoy Marquez, Rufa Mae Quinto and teenage actor, Clarence Delgado, among others.

Directing Home Sweetie Home is Edgar Mortiz, Raymund Dizon is the producer.

Carlo at Angelica game over na!

It’s unlikely na magkakalapit pa sina Carlo Aquino at Angelica Panganiban, now that their current co-starrer, the series, Playhouse, with Zanjoe Marudo, Isabelle Daza at Maxene Magalona, is about to end.

Mukha nang nagka-totoo ang titulo ng kanilang comeback film together, Exes Baggage.

Yes, someone quipped, they are each other’s excess luggage.
