Liezl nakapiling ang ama sa kanyang huling pasko

Three of the late Liezl Martinez’ showbiz friends who were early to arrive at her wake noong gabi ng March 14 were Pops Fernandez, Nadia Montenegro, at entertainment writer na si Dolly Ann Carvajal.

Dalawa pang non-showbiz friends ni Liezl, who were on hands to help her family, welcome and entertain mga nakikiramay, sina Rachelle Mercado at Patty Florez.

Liezl as we all know, died early mor­ning, 6:15 a.m., to be exact sa Medical City, kung saan siya isinugod nang lumala ang kanyang kalagayan noong March 14.

When she passed away, all her loved ones, bukod sa kanyang ama, former Sampaguita actor, Romeo ‘‘Bobby’’ Vasquez, were at her bedside - husband Albert, her three children, Al­yanna, Alfonso, and Alayssa, her mom, former actress Amalia (Fuentes) and some cou­sins, aunts, and uncles.

In any case, according to a source, father and daughter had the chance to bond when Liezl, together with Albert, cousin Aga and Aga’s wife, Charlene (Gonzales) was in the U.S. last December.
