MANILA, Philippines - Matapos na ibasura ng Commission on Appointments (CA) ang posisyon ni dating Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) secretary Judy Taguiwalo kamakailan, nagtalaga si Pangulong Rodrigo Duterte ng Officer-in-Charge ng tanggapan.
Sinabi ni Pesidential Spokesperson Ernesto Abella na itinalaga ni Pangulong Duterte si Social Welfare Underecretary for Finance and Administration Emmanuel Leyco bilang OIC ng departamento.
Ayon pa kay Abella, epektibo kaagad ang magiging trabaho ni Leyco bilang OIC ng DSWD.
“The Palace wishes to announce the designation of Mr. Emmanuel A. Leyco as the Officer-in-Charge of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) effective immediately. Idinagdag pa ni Abella na hindi na bago sa DSWD si Leyco dahil ito ang kasalukuyang undersecretary ng finance at administrasyon ng ahensiya.
