PVL teams puwede sa PSL beach volley bubble

MANILA, Philippines — Ang pagbabalik ng volleyball ay sisimulan muna sa beach volleyball competition sa Nov. 27-29 matapos makakuha ang Philippine Superliga ng approval ng Inter Agency Task Force (IATF) para sa kanilang bubble tournament na Beach Volleyball Challenge Cup sa Subic kung saan maaaring sumali ang mga Premiere Volleyball League (PVL) teams.

 Ayon kay PSL Chairman Philip Ella Juico, may ilang koponan na ang nagpahayag ng interes. “Meron na kaming kausap as early as three months ago. We’re hoping at least eight teams. May ibang teams kasi sa amin na baka hindi makasali dahil estudyante ang mga players nila.”

Walong buwan nang tengga ang volleyball sapul nang pumutok ang COVID-19 pandemic.

“It’s about time. Its a big boost for volleyball because its the first non-professional sport to be approved,” pahayag ni Juico.

Kailangan pang kumpletuhin ng PSL ang mga karagdagang requirements ng IATF para sa kanilang bubble tulad ng pagtukoy ng bubble zone, kung saan titira ang buong delegasyon at iba pa.
