MANILA, Philippines — Gumulong na ang proseso ng naturalization ni Barangay Ginebra resident import Justin Bronwlee matapos ang opisyal na pagsusumite ng House Bill 8106 sa Kongreso kahapon.

Inakda ni Northport Batang Pier owner at 1-Pacman partylist representative Mikee Romero, ang vice chairman din ng House Committee on Sports, ang pa­nukalang ba­­tas ka­sama ang iba pang kongre­sistang sina En­ri­co Pinera, Scott Da­vies La­nete at Erico Aris­­totle Aumentado.

“He has brought enor­mous pride and joy to the Philippine Bas­ketball Association (PBA), as well as to all basketball enthusiasts in the country,” naka­saad sa proposed bill na magbibigay ng Philip­pine citizenship kay Brownlee kung sakaling ma­aprubahan. “Justin Brownlee said he can have a house here just like Norman Black or other imports who have fallen in love with the Filipinos and the Philippines.”

Noong Linggo ay ipi­­nahayag ni Brownlee ang kagustu­hang ma­ging natura­lized player para ma­kapanirahan sa bansa ma­tapos ang kanyang bas­ketball career.

Sinuportahan kaagad si­ya ni San Miguel Cor­poration president Ra­mon S. Ang at sasagutin ang na­turalization pro­cess ng import.
