Panabo magpapatayo ng sports complex
Ang mga partisipante sa Philippine Sports Commission-Philippine Sports Institute (PSC-PSI) Consultative Meeting and Grassroots Coaching kasama si Philippine Sports Commissioner Charles Raymond A. Maxey sa opening program kaha­pon sa Panabo City Hall.

PANABO CITY, Da­vao del Norte, Philippines — Ipapa­ayos ng Lungsod ng Panabo ang kanilang mga sports facilities.

Ito ay matapos ang pag­daraos ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) at Philippine Sports Institute (PSI) ng two-day consultative mee­ting at grassroots coa­­ching education sa Pa­nabo City Hall kaha­pon dito.

“We are grateful to the  PSC for their) technical assistance, provi­ding skilled persons help us give impact to sports in our city and bring pride to the Pa­naboans in both natio­nal and international com­petitions,” sabi ni Pa­nabo City Administra­tor Atty. Jamail Lunar Macla, kumatawan kay Mayor James Gamao.

Ipapaayos ni Gamao ang kanilang multi-pur­pose gym at magpapa­tayo ng isang sports complex na may Olympic-sized swimming pool, rubberized track oval at baseball diamond o football pitch.

Idinagdag ni Mac­la na plano ng Panabo LGU na makakuha ng P70 million loan mula sa Landbank of the Phi­lippines para sa pagpa­pa­gawa ng sports complex.

Pinasalamatan ni PSC Commissioner Charles Raymond A. Maxey ang Pa­nabo LGU para sa pa­mamahala sa two-day event.

“The PSC, being com­mitted to grassroots sports, appreciates the LGU of Panabo for this partnership and for its laudable efforts to promote sports and educate the coaches,” ani Ma­xey.

Sinabi ni Macla na pinili nila ang basketball, boxing, taekwondo at table tennis para sa kanilang grassroots coa­ching edu­cation program.
