Panabo magpapatayo ng sports complex
PANABO CITY, Davao del Norte, Philippines — Ipapaayos ng Lungsod ng Panabo ang kanilang mga sports facilities.
Ito ay matapos ang pagdaraos ng Philippine Sports Commission (PSC) at Philippine Sports Institute (PSI) ng two-day consultative meeting at grassroots coaching education sa Panabo City Hall kahapon dito.
“We are grateful to the PSC for their) technical assistance, providing skilled persons help us give impact to sports in our city and bring pride to the Panaboans in both national and international competitions,” sabi ni Panabo City Administrator Atty. Jamail Lunar Macla, kumatawan kay Mayor James Gamao.
Ipapaayos ni Gamao ang kanilang multi-purpose gym at magpapatayo ng isang sports complex na may Olympic-sized swimming pool, rubberized track oval at baseball diamond o football pitch.
Idinagdag ni Macla na plano ng Panabo LGU na makakuha ng P70 million loan mula sa Landbank of the Philippines para sa pagpapagawa ng sports complex.
Pinasalamatan ni PSC Commissioner Charles Raymond A. Maxey ang Panabo LGU para sa pamamahala sa two-day event.
“The PSC, being committed to grassroots sports, appreciates the LGU of Panabo for this partnership and for its laudable efforts to promote sports and educate the coaches,” ani Maxey.
Sinabi ni Macla na pinili nila ang basketball, boxing, taekwondo at table tennis para sa kanilang grassroots coaching education program.
