Sandara lumayas na sa management group!

Big news ngayon sa South Korea ang pag-alis ni Sandara Park sa kanyang management na YG Entertainment after 17 years.

Sa article ng Soompi, inanunsyo mismo ng YG Entertainment ang paglisan ni Sandara sa kumpanya.

“This is an announcement that YG Entertainment and Sandara Park’s exclusive contract has expired.

“We express sincere gratitude to Sandara Park, who has been together with YG with special trust and affection.

“YG will always cheer on the challenges that Sandara Park takes on, and we will continuously help her until she completes preparation for her new start.

“Sandara Park joined YG in 2004, and after debuting with 2NE1 in 2009, she has shown impressive performance not only in music but also in various areas such as acting, fashion, beauty, and as an MC.

“We ask for much interest and support from fans so her positive energy can shine even further.

“We once again sincerely thank the fans who have loved Sandara Park as an artist of YG until now,” ang kabuuan ng official statement ng YG Entertainment.

Well, some fans saw this coming dahil matapos mag-disband ang 2NE1 in 2016 ay wala nang masyadong project na naibibigay kay Dara ang kanyang management.

catriona nagpaliwanag sa bet sa miss u

Nagpaliwanag si Miss Universe 2018 Catriona Gray sa kanyang Top 6 Best in National Costume sa mga kandidata of the 69thMiss Universe pageant.

Sa kanyang Twitter account, Catriona tweeted, “Indonesia, Nepal, Peru, Thailand, Ukraine and Vietnam were my Top 6@missuniverse National Costumes. Who were yours?”

Siyempre, ang daming umalma kung bakit wala raw ang ating kandidata na si Miss Universe-Philippines Rabiya Mateo. Umani si Catriona ng pambabatikos at komento nga ng iba, hindi na raw sana ipinost ng beauty queen ang kanyang opinyon dahil hindi raw ito nakakatulong kay Rabiya.

Kaagad namang nagbigay ng paliwanag si Catriona tungkol dito. “My best in National Costume picks are my favorite National Costumes, not based on the candidates performance. I love the celebration of culture and a country’s expression of identity which is why its one of my favorite segments,” tweet ni Catriona.

But just the same, katakot-takot pa ring pangba-bash ang naranasan niya. “I respect and I agree with some of your choices Cat. But being a Filipino, a little commendation could have been given. I know you’re just being unbiased but also please bear in mind about things like morale and sensitivity especially this time,” komento ng isang netizen.

“I really love you catriona but you must atleast consider how rabiya would feel ,i know its your honest opinion and picks but if rabiya is not included you could have atleast keep it to yourself ,rabiya look up to you and pia,” sey naman ng isa pa.

Pero in fairness naman kay Catriona, isa siya sa nagtanggol at nagbigay ng moral support kay Rabiya nang umiyak ito the other day dahil nga sa naging problema nito sa national costume.

Matatandaang lubhang naging kontrobersyal ang video ng pag-iyak ni Rabiya at paghingi nito ng apology sa sambayanan for her performance in the pageant’s national costume competition.

Kahapon ay ginanap naman ang Miss U preliminary competition kung saan ay rumampa si Rabiya sa kanyang yellow swim suit and yellow evening gown.

Gaganapin naman ngayong May 16 (May 17 sa Manila) ang koronasyon ng Miss Universe pageant at mapapanood nang live sa A2Z channel, 8 am.
