Grammy Awards binigyan ng tribute si Kobe

Binigyan ng tribute ang legendary Los Angeles Lakers basketball star na si Kobe Bryant sa 62nd Grammy Awards na ginanap sa Staples Center in Los Angeles, California.

Nagulat ang marami sa biglang pagpanaw ni Bryant noong umaga ng January 26. Kasama ni Bryant na nasawi ay ang kanyang 13-year old daughter na si Gianna.

Ayon sa host ng Grammy na si Alicia Keys: “We’re all feeling crazy sadness right now. We never imagined in a million years we’d have to start a show like this. I know that it’s the most healing thing in the world. So let us get some healing going on right now.”

Sa labas ng Staple Center, nagtayo ng isang memorial ang fans ni Kobe Bryant bilang alaala sa yumaong basketball legend.

Hindi nga matatawaran ang husay ni Bryant sa sport na basketball.

Bryant was an 18-time All-Star, 15-time member of the All-NBA Team, 12-time member of the All-Defensive team, and the 2008 NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP).

At the 2008 and 2012 Summer Olympics, he won gold medals as a member of the U.S. national team.

Tinawag siya na isa sa “greatest basketball players of all time.”

Bryant was the first guard in NBA history to play at least 20 seasons.

Sa edad na 34, Bryant became the youngest player in league history to reach 30,000 career points. He became the all-time leading scorer in Lakers franchise history on February 1, 2010.

In 2018, he won an Oscar award para sa animated short film na Dear Basketball.

Naglabas din si Bryant ng libro noong 2018 titled The Mamba Mentality: How I Play. The book looks back on his career with photos and his reflections.

Bilang isang philanthropist, Bryant was the official ambassador for After-School All-Stars (ASAS), an American non-profit organization that provides comprehensive after-school programs to children in thirteen US cities.

Kelley Day nanghihingi ng suporta sa Miss Eco International

Reynang-reyna na ang aura ng magiging Philippine representative natin sa Miss Eco International na si Kelley Day.

Magaganap ang Miss Eco International 2019/2020 sa Egypt on April 11.

Pinost na nga ni Kelley ang kanyang official photo sa kanyang Instagram account. “Proudly representing the Philippines for the upcoming Miss Eco International Pageant Competition! Save the date - April 11,” caption pa ni Kelley.

Nagpaabot naman ng kanilang suporta ang maraming kaibigan ni Kelley, kabilang na ang kauna-unahang Pinay na manalo sa Miss Eco International in 2018 na si Thia Thomalla.

Huling napanood si Kelley Day sa GMA afternoong teleserye na Nang Dahil Sa Pag-ibig.
