Sen. Cynthia siyam na taon na ang programa para sa mga OFW

MANILA, Philippines — Siyam na taon na palang ginagawa ni Sen. Cynthia Villar ang OFW and Family Summit.

Gaganapin ito sa World Trade Center sa Pasay City bukas, November 12.

Inaasahang pupunuin ng libu-libong overseas Filipino workers ang World Trade Center.

“My family and many OFWs always look forward to this event, because it has evolved into an occasion where OFWs and their families gather and interact with private and government institutions for concerns arranging from access to financial services, social benefits, legal assistance, among other,”  pahayag ni Sen. Cynthia.

Layunin daw nila na maturuan ang mga ito ng tamang paghawak ng pera na magagamit nila sa pagtatayo ng sarili nilang negosyo at ngayong taon nga, ang summit ay may temang Kabuhayan Sa Sariling Bayan.

Katuwang ni Sen. Cynthia si Susan ‘Toots’ Ople ng Ople Training Center sa pagbibigay ng mga impormasyong dapat malaman ng mga Pinoy pagdating sa pag-i-invest.

Dadalo sa event sina former Senate President Manny Villar, Las Piñas Representative Camille Villar, DPWH Secretary Mark Villar, Pasay City Mayor Imelda Calixto-Rubiano at Department of Trade and Industry Sec. Ramon Lopez.

Magkakaroon ng pagkakataong mag-uwi ng sariling house and lot mula sa Lessandra ng Camella, dalawang motorsiklo from Isuzu Cavite, pang­kabuhayan showcase mula sa All Day Supermarket, appliance showcase from All Home, Xtreme Appliance at marami pang iba ang mga participant.
