Andi umamin na maraming tinitiis sa pag-aalaga ng baby

Isang intimate ceremony lang sa isang simbahan sa Siargao dinaos ang baptism ni Baby Lilo na three-months old na. Present ang daddy ni Lilo na si Philmar Alipayo at ang 7-year old daughter ni Andi na si Ellie.

Naging daan ang Instagram para mag-share si Andi ng mga bagong natutunan niya tungkol sa motherhood.

Heto ang isang nai-share ni Andi: “Just put Lilo down to sleep after her usual 5-9 whine. Pretty much every day around these hours, she will wail at the top of her lungs and nothing will seem to soothe her for a while. This never fails.

“You’d think I’d get use to it but it never gets easy. Though recently I’ve discovered that in situations like this, meditation is my best friend.

“Whenever she is hysterical I’ve learned to be at my most calm. It’s difficult. It’s so difficult. That’s no secret. But I also know how rewarding it is...

“Motherhood has actually managed to make me feel so many different types of emotions in such a short span of time. It’s amazing. How in the world could it be that all of a sudden we are so capable of such great big love? (Love, that in my case, even divided into two could not get smaller.) It is so amazing.

“All of a sudden I am capable of so many things, feeling so many things, doing so many things I never imagined I could or would ever do.

“I don’t mind being forever tired, never getting enough sleep, and all the other bits of motherhood that make us go crazy, because motherhood has also made me more fulfilled, more driven, more grateful, more compassionate, more whole than I thought I could ever be. That to me is worth it.”

Samantha, thankful pa rin

Bagama’t bigo ang ating Philippine representative na si Samantha Lo na mapanalunan ang Miss Grand International crown sa Caracas, Venezuela, nagpasalamat pa rin ito sa kanyang mga supporters.

Pinasalamatan din ni Samantha ang Binibining Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI), kahit nagkaroon sila ng ‘di pagkakaunawaan sa naging situwasyon niya.

“To Madam Stella Araneta, thank you for trusting me to carry the title of Binibining Pilipinas Grand international, for seeing my potential to perform in this competition.”

Lumikha ng kontrobersya si Samantha matapos mabalitang na-detain siya sa Charles de Gaulle Airport sa Paris at hindi nakakuha ng flight papuntang Caracas, Venezuela dahil sa pinakita niyang fake passport.

Na-deport ito pabalik ng Manila at walang nabalitaan sa kanya not until October 20, nang makarating siya sa Venezuela at ikuwento ang hirap na pinagdaanan niya.

Sinisi pa niya ang national pageant organizer dahil hindi raw siya tinulungan sa kanyang problema.

Inalmahan naman ito ng BPCI at naglabas ng official statement sa kaso ni Samantha.

Itinanggi ng BPCI ang paratang ni Samantha na walang ginawa ang organisasyon para tulungan siya sa kanyang problema.

3500 babies ipinangalan sa Game Of Thrones character

Natutuwa ang Game Of Thrones star na si Emilia Clarke na maraming mommies ang pinapangalan ang kanilang babies sa GoT character niya na si Daenerys Targaryen or Khaleesi.

According to the Washington Post, at least 3,500 girls have been given one of those two names. Vulture also reports that in 2018 alone, the name Khaleesi ranked among the 1,000 most popular girl names.

“A lot of people did Khaleesi and Daenerys... by the time someone’s called their child Khaleesi or Daenerys, they’re like four when season eight happened and so they no longer become the character but rather the child that they are... so that’s good. They create their own identity,” sey ni Clarke.
