Dennis si Jennylyn na ang pakakasalan?!

Dennis Trillo, in an interview, said that, like his leading lady in his new series, Juan Happy Love Story, Heart Evangelista, Mrs. Chiz Escudero in real life, he too will settle down, in time.

Will his rumored current flame, Jennylyn Mercado, be the lucky woman na pakakasalan niya?

Ayaw daw munang mag-confirm or deny ni Dennis, bagama’t ‘di niya idini-deny na sobrang matimbang sa kanyang puso ngayon si Jennylyn.

Jennylyn, like Dennis, is currently busy with a project. She is rushing her first movie with John Lloyd Cruz, Just The Three Of Us, since may playdate na itong April 27.

A Star Cinema movie, it has direk Cathy Garcia Molina at the helm.

Cherry Pie nagwaging ideal mother!

In last Sunday’s edition of the new ABS-CBN game program, Family Feud, hosted by Luis Manzano, 100 respondents were asked who they think is the actress who looks ideal for mother roles and, thus, is in demand for it.

Ang top answer ay si Cherry Pie, who last appeared as Mom to an overly spoiled brat son (played by Albie Casiño) in the highly rated James Reid and Nadine Lustre series, On The Wings of Love.

In real life, according to Cherry Pie she is a proud Mom to his 14-year-old son, Jose Antonio (Nio, for short) Trias, who is in grade eight at the Ateneo de Manila University.

The boy, who is too, an excellent tennis player, has brought honors to the country, as he has competed abroad in several tennis tournaments.

In fact, sa April 18 to 23, Nio will be with teammates Michael Francis Eala, Jr. at Venz Anton Louise Alforque sa Thailand para sa World Junior Tennis Competition.

As an actress, Cherry Pie is currently winning kudos sa kanyang performance in Whistleblower, a socio-political film, directed by Adolf Alix, co-starring her with Nora Aunor at Angelica Panganiban.

The film marks her first time na makatrabaho ang Superstar, na labis daw niyang hinahangaan as an actress. Nakakayanig daw ang confrontation scenes nila sa pelikula na kasalukuyang palabas na sa mga sinehan.

Having turned businesswoman recently, she is owner of the now famous Alab Restaurant, which has two branches, isa sa Scout Rallos in Quezon City at isa rin sa UP Town Center.

Soon, they will be opening another branch in McKinley Hilll naman, according to Cherry Pie.

Robin walang pinauuwing luhaan

Swak na swak si Robin Padilla as host ng programang Game Ng Bayan ng ABS-CBN, where the contestants are usually residents of a particular Barangay, where the show is held.

Daily ang programa, weekdays, where Alex Gonzaga serves as Robin’s co-host, together with Eric Nicolas, Negi, and beauty queen na si MJ Lastimosa.

As host of GNB (for Game ng Bayan), Robin appears even more excited kapag nanalo ng jackpot ang isa sa mga contestant, lalo’t kasunod nito ang portion where the contestants get the privilege to win, too, prizes for their Barangay.

In last Friday’s episode of GNB, the group, headed by a certain Editho, kumbaga, won for himself and his group the amount of P60,000. Plus, of course, the prize for the Barangay where he resides.

Actually, wala pa sa mga participant ang umuuwing luhaan. For those kasi who failed to make it to the finals, may naiuuwi silang halaga from (5,000 to 10,000, sometimes more). As they are allowed na mag-participate sa portion na Yehey o Belat ng programa.

Ito ’yung babaliktarin ng host ang pinggang nagsasaad kung nag-win o hindi, base sa numero ng platong napili ng contestants.

Actually, GNB is not the only show kung bakit abala si Robin, as he also serves as one of the four jurors of the talent show, Pilipinas Got Talent (PGT).

Ang tatlong iba pang jurors ng PGT are former ABS-CBN President Freddie Garcia, Angel Locsin, and Vice Ganda.

Robin’s wife, Mariel Padilla (nee Rodriguez) is seen daily, noontime, except Sunday, as host of It’s Showtime.
