Cycling championships sa June 21-24

MANILA, Philippines — Magbabalik sa kalsada ang mga siklista sa pag­pad­yak ng PhilCycling National Championships for Road sa Hunyo 21-24 sa Tagaytay City.

Ito ay matapos mawala ang mga karera ng dalawang taon dahil sa COVID-19 pandemic.

“With the pandemic res­trictions eased, it’s high time to bring the National Championships back on the road,” sabi ni Philippine Olympic Committee (POC) at cycling federation pre­si­­dent Abraham ‘Bambol’ To­lentino.

Itatampok sa national championships ang road race, individual time trial at criterium para sa men at women elite, under-23, ju­niors (17-18) at youth (16-under).

Sasalain ang mga lalahok na siklista dahil papad­yak lamang sa national championships ang mga may potensyal na maging na­tional athletes.

Ang top five riders sa road races, top three sa cri­terium at top two sa ITT ay isasama sa national team mu­la Hulyo 1 hanggang Dis­­yembre 31, 2022.

Magdaraos rin ang Phil­Cycling ng national cham­pionship para sa moun­tain bike sa Hunyo 10-12 at BMX sa Hunyo 25-26.
