Michelline Syjuco — visual artist, jewelry and wearable art designer and experimental sculptor — partnered up with Galerie Joaquin to launch her first ever solo exhibition of paintings.

The exhibit titled Revelation was held at the pop-up art space at 8 Rockwell in Makati City. It showcased 20 of the artist’s paintings with surreal landscapes intertwined with avant-garde floral motifs, which showed a different side to the young renaissance woman.

Unlike her bold and imposing jewelry, bags and wearable sculpture (which are inspired by sword and sorcery, the baroque, and the phantasmagorical), Michelline’s paintings are flowing and elegant that draw from organic forms.

The eldest daughter of experimental artists Cesare and Jean Marie Syjuco, Michelline has been surrounded by art all her life and has participated in the most prestigious exhibitions all over the world.

Well done, dear Michelline!
