A dream home at The Fort

OH YES, IT'S JOHNNY! - Johnny Litton - The Philippine Star

A home should not only be a place to sleep and eat in, but also a place to relax and ponder about life and the future as well.

To be built on East Forbes or “Millionaires’ Row” at Bonifacio Global City in Taguig, The Hudson at The Fort is a 30-story mixed-use development of Brittany Corp., a subsidiary of Vista Residences, the condominium arm of the country’s largest housing developer Vista Land. This is the most exclusive condominium project of Brittany to date, with 140 units up for grabs. Designed by Casas Architects and Atelier Almario, The Hudson at The Fort will be built under the concept of “combining smart living and green design.”

Destined to have everything one could wish for in a modern home, the condominium project will feature modern architecture, energy-efficient designs and luxurious amenities like a lap pool, function rooms and a fitness gym plus a great view of the Manila Polo Club and the Manila Golf and Country Club.

Among those seen at its grand launch held at the Cav Wine Shop-Café were Sen. Manny Villar, Vista Residences president Maribeth Tolentino, Las Piñas City Rep. Mark Villar, Grand Sequoia Estate Development president Philip Lim and Habitat president and chief designer Chris Lacson.

Philippine STAR president and CEO Miguel Belmonte and VP for advertising Lucien Dy Tioco with R-II Builders chairman Reghis Romero II.

Congratulations to Brittany on its huge and timely venture!

Grüezi at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu

An authentic Swiss celebration was recently held at the Marco Polo Plaza Cebu when the five-star hotel in the Queen City of the South recently hosted the sixth Swiss Alpine Festival. Foreign dignitaries and society luminaries were welcomed by the hotel’s gracious general manager Hans Hauri as they celebrated the Swiss National Day.

For an entire week, guests enjoyed a Swiss culinary journey filled with merry traditional activities, a scrumptious Swiss buffet, free-flowing drinks and live entertainment. A speech from the president of the Swiss Confederation as well as the presence of the Swiss Ambassador Ivo Sieber made the jovial gathering even more remarkable.

Congratulations to Hans Hauri and his team for another job well done!
