The gracious and generous Rose Lazaro celebrated her natal day with a sumptuous lunch at the posh Manila Polo Club. Rose was joined by her husband, legal luminary Manuel “Lolong” Lazaro, and children in welcoming her guests who all attested to Rose’s kindness and inner strength. Lovely in a pink floral-printed dress, Rose enjoyed the company of her close friends like the ambassadors’ wives, her co-members in the Catholic Women’s Club and the Friends for Cultural Concern of the Philippines. Among those who greeted Rose at her birthday party were mesdames Margaret Ledoux, Denise Lillie, Silvana Fornari, Gracita Sieber, Yan Donko and Nadia Al-Batti, Guatemala Consul Mellie Ablaza, Angola Consul Helen Ong, Togo Consul Evie Costa, former Justice Bernardo Pardo and Dr. Jimmy Laya.
