CEBU CITY, Philippines — Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte accused presidential rival Manuel "Mar" Roxas II of being "pretentious" and a "fraud" in one of the heated exchange at Sunday night's debate.
This was after Roxas cited the the Department of Interior and Local Government's accomplishment in addressing the illegal drug problem. He said the authorities have confiscated P7.5 billion worth of drugs and have arrested several suspects.
Duterte then answered with a sharp retort before veering away from the topic by referring to Roxas's educational background.
