I am writing on behalf of my father, Dr. Jaime Galvez Tan. I would like to humbly request for a correction in your article entitled “Doctors’ group seeks end to all lock downs” published Sept. 18, 2020. The writer mentioned that he is the one leading this movement.
To clarify, Dr. Galvez Tan is not the leader of the 5,000 members of the Concerned Doctors and Citizens of the Philippines.
While he did read the unity statement on behalf of the group, this does not mean that he is the leader of the group. This specific article misrepresents Dr. Galvez Tan as the leader of the group. Please rectify this misunderstanding. – Riva “River” Galvez Tan, Twitter @rivagalveztan
