UPD’s Team C^3 to represent Philippines in Brandstorm worldwide finals 2018

Grand winner Team C^3 from UP Diliman flies to Paris, France for the world finals.

MANILA, Philippines — Team C^3 from the University of the Philippines (UP) Diliman on Thursday emerged the National Finals winner of Brandstorm 2018-Philippines at the Marco Polo Hotel, Ortigas City.

In line with its commitment of championing a culture that values training individuals to become globally competitive and empowering talents to shape the future of beauty, L’Oreal challenged students in the country of innovating the customer experience for the professional salon of the future.

“L’Oreal Brandstorm has always stood as an innovation-incubator for some of the most promising talents in the industry. It is always inspiring to see what students come up with their fresh perspectives and forward-looking insights,” said L’Oreal Philippines general manager for human resources Tina Ampil.   

The battle of the students from different universities showcased their competency through the creation of breakthrough innovations that combine the application of the most modern technologies to attract and engage millennials as well as increase hairdressers’ loyalty.

The other top teams that competed in the national finals were Team L’Ocked In from De La Salle University-Manila; Team LoREALTalk from Ateneo de Manila University; Team Tala also from De La Salle University-Manila; Team RegSteffieJe, another one from UP Diliman; Team Bellus from University of the Philippines-Visayas; Team Totally L’Oreal and Team TS1 also both from UP Diliman – each comprising of three members.

The national finals grand winner, Colleen Anne Chua, Clarice Tee, and Caitlin Yun, received P50,000 and will be competing with other contenders in Paris, France for Brandstrom 2018 World Finals.
