Ilocos Sur is set to host the Palarong Pambansa next year, as announced by Department of Education (DepEd) Secretary Leonor Magtolis Briones. The region was chosen based on its readiness and completeness of its sports facilities, peace and order, and the support of the local government.
MTRCB poster making, photography contest opens for applications
The Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB)holds a poster- making and photography Contest with the theme “Sakay Na, Batang Pinoy, Byaheng Media, Byaheng MTRCB” on Oct. 14, 2017.
Public and private high school students, and senior citizens from Metro Manila are qualified to join the competition. Registration forms may be downloaded from MTRCB’s website. Winners will receive cash prizes as follows: 1st prize, P10,000; 2nd prize, P7,000; 3rd prize, P5,000. Entries may be submitted until Oct. 10, 2017.
