Unang adlaw ni Biden

Sa unang adlaw ni Presidente Joe Biden sa Oval Office sa White House, trabaho dayon.Mi-pirma siya’g 17 ka executive orders, memorandums ug procalamations, giingon dinhi,  “including rejoining the Paris climate accords and mandating the wearing of masks in federal buildings.”

Tan-awa unsa ka importante ug unsa ka pagkakinahanglanon pagsul-ob of face mask. Kita dinhi mga hambugero na kaayo, magsuroy-suroy, mora lang og walay nahitabo, dili na magsul-ob og facemask ug face shield, ug dili na motuman sa mga health protocols.

Sa iyang bahin, tapus sa pipila ka oras gikan sa inagurasayon ni Biden, ang iyang press secretary, si Jen Psaki mipahigayon sa unang news briefing sa bag-ong administrasyon, iyang gipasalig ug gisaad nga ilang ibalik sa briefing room ang “truth and transparency.”

So, sukwahi kini sa panahon ni Trump nga nakig-away pa sa mga reporter, hangtud nga wala na gyud magpahigayon og mga press briefings.

Sa iyang bahin, pipila ka oras tapus sa inagurasyon, si Vice President Kamala Harris mipapanumpa sa tulo ka Democrat nga senador. Niini, ang mga Democrats nay magkontrolar sa Senado, tungod kay samtang aduna 50 ka Republican senators, si Harris nga usa ka Democrat, maka-break man sa tie kon magbotohan na sa usa ka isyo.
