Banat Opinyon

Kasaysayan sa Holy Rosary (Part 2)

IYO ANTOY - Antolin dela Serna - Banat

Sumpay kini sa atong gisaysay gahapon mahitungod sa origin o sinugdanan sa pagpangadye sa Sto. Rosaryo.

“An appalling storm broke out, the earth shook, the sun was darkened, and there was so much thunder and lightning, that all were very much afraid.”

So, pagsugod sa sermon ni St. Dominic, kalit nga mibagyo (without the warning from PAG-ASA - ams), giuyog ang kalibutan, nawad-an sa kahayag ang adlaw, makapakugang ang kilat ug makabungog ang dugdog.

Ang nakapahadlok pag-ayo sa katawhan mao kini: “Even greater was their fear, when looking at the picture of our Lady exposed in a prominent place, they saw raised her arms to heaven three times to call down God’s vengeance upon them if they failed to be converted, to amend their lives, and seek the protection of the Holy Mother of God.”

So, niadtong makalilisang nga katalagman ang Mahal nga Birhen mi-intervene pagpakalma sa kasuko sa Ginoo. Ug giingon dinhi: “God wished, by means of this supernatural phenomena, to spread the new devotion of the holy Rosary and to make widely known.”

Gumikan sa intervention sa Mahal nga Birhen ug mga pangaliya ni St. Dominic, mikalma ang panahon, ug mipadayon siya pag-sermon ug pag-eksplikar sa kamahinungdanon sa pag-rosaryo, diin dihadiha dayon, “almost all of the people of Toulouse,” Ilabina niadtong nakasaksi sa makalilisang hitabo, “embraced it (the Rosary) and renounced their false beliefs. In a very short time a great improvement was seen In the town: “people began leading Christian lives and gave up their former bad habits.”

Ug kining katalagman nga nahitabo karon sa tibuok kalibutan, aduna ba kahay mensahe ang Ginoo?

Si Pope John Paul II nagkanayon: “The Rosary of the Virgin Mary is a prayer loved by countless Saints and encouraged by the Magesterium. Simple yet profound, it still remains a prayer of great importance, destined to bring forth a harvest of holiness.”

Si St. Dominic, sa dili pa siya mo-sermon, mag-rosaryo una. Sa iyang bahin, si Pope John Paul II nagkanayon: “I myself have often encouraged the frequent recitation of the Rosary. From my youthful years this prayer has held an important place in my spiritual life. The Rosary has accompanied me in times of moments of joy and in moments of difficulty. The Rosary is my favourite prayer. A marvellous prayer!’

Adunay pangutana: Is the Hail Mary Biblical?  Tubag: “The prayer incorporates two greetings to Mary in Saint Luke's Gospel: "Hail, full of grace, the Lord is with thee." and "Blessed art thou amongst women and blessed is the fruit of thy womb."

Alang sa mga Santos ug sa balaang mga tawo, sama sa mga Santo Papa, ang Rosaryo bililhon kaayo ug usa ka marvellous ug superb nga pag-ampo.
