A survey by scammers

BEWARE. There is a new way for online criminals to rob you. According to some sources some scammers pose as survey takers when contacting netizens. They invite the netizens to take surveys that eventually ask for personal and sensitive information.

Many scammers go to the extent of pretending to be reputable news sources to fool their victims.

“Ni-apil ko og survey aron makatabang, pero nagkadugay lahi naman ang mga pangutana,” said a source who almost fell victim to the scam.
