Betting on Miss Cebu beauties using the cellular phone

BETTING ON BEAUTIES. During the staging of the Miss Cebu 2011 beauty pageant last Thursday a group of youngsters (some of them looking like Tsinoys) were discussing who they believed would win the crown that night. It turned out that they were betting on their choices.

CELLPHONE USED. They were not betting openly, observed an Ear informer. "Nagpinustaanay pinaagi sa cellphone," our informer said shaking his head. "Daghan gyud kagamitan ang cellphone, hasta pa sa pinustaanay." Those youngsters were just hanging out outside the venue.
