UST tightens security protocol
MANILA, Philippines — Amid recent cases of school violence, the University of Santo Tomas (UST) has tightened security “to protect students, employees and visitors.”
Security guards will patrol the campus more frequently and monitor entrances, corridors, stairwells, parking areas and other common areas.
“Immediately report suspicious behavior, unattended items, threats and other security concerns to the nearest security officer,” UST said.
Visitors must present valid identification and comply with procedures at Gates 2, 7 and 14.
Vehicles entering the campus will be inspected.
