World Corporate Golf Challenge Philippines slated

MANILA, Philippines — Local golfers can now check if they are eligible to participate in the World Corporate Golf Challenge (WCGC) Philippines following the release of the official tournament rules and eligibility guidelines.
Organizer Premiere Sports Management Corp. said the inaugural WCGC Philippines is envisioned as the country’s premier two-man corporate golf tournament, bringing together top business leaders and executives to compete in the National Finals at Mimosa Plus Golf Club in Clark, Pampanga on Aug. 26–27.
“We are open to duly registered corporate teams. All they need to do is submit a copy of their company’s Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Certificate of Registration and the latest Certificate of Employment (COE),” said PSMC president Jose Paulo Legaspi. “Premiere Sports will carefully verify all submitted information to ensure that every team meets the eligibility requirements before being allowed to compete,” he added.
Requirements include: Two main players must have been connected with the same company or corporation for at least one year and must either be the owner, president, director, or part of the company’s top-level management.
