4 fires break out in Manila, Quezon City, Pasay

MANILA, Philippines — Four fires broke out in residential areas in Manila, Quezon City and Pasay yesterday, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) reported.

In Quezon City, a fire erupted along Sitio Evergreen street, Philand Drive in Barangay Pasong Tamo at past 11 a.m.

Firefighters declared the fire out at 11:45 a.m. 

Another fire was reported on A. Luna street in Barangay Marilag, reaching the first alarm at 11:43 a.m. and elevating to second alarm at noon.

The fire was extinguished at 12:42 p.m.

In Pasay, a fire struck a house along M. De la Cruz street before noon yesterday.

Firefighters immediately responded, dousing the blaze at 1:34 a.m.

In Manila, a fire broke out on Labores street in Barangay 848, Pandacan. 

Arson probers have yet to determine the cause of the fires. No casualties or injuries were reported.
