P2.07 million shabu seized in Taguig

MANILA, Philippines — Anti-narcotics police arrested two suspected drug pushers and confiscated methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu valued at P2.07 million in Taguig City on Friday night.

High-value suspects Sojod Kamendan, 20, and Hadjisidik Mando, 22, were caught with 305 grams of shabu during a sting in Barangay Lower Bicutan at around 9:20 p.m., National Capital Region Police Office director Maj. Gen. Jose Melencio Nartatez Jr. said.

The suspects are being held on charges of drug trafficking.

In Quezon City, Sean Steven Santos, 22, was apprehended in a sting on Friday that yielded 15 grams of shabu valued at P102,000 and P8,500 in marked money.

Brig. Gen. Redrico Maranan, Quezon City Police District director, said Santos was collared in Barangay San Bartolome at around 3 a.m.

In Valenzuela, two drug suspects, who were not named by police, were caught with 12 grams of shabu with a street value of P81,600 during a sting in Barangay Karuhatan on Friday night.

In Manila, police seized over 102 grams of shabu valued at P690,000 from Soneo Lim, 32; Dhanne Albert Francisco, 39; Archie Ayroso, 44, and Erwin Lachica, 45, during a sting in Barangay 422 on Thursday, Nartatez said.
