Fire hits UP Town Center

MANILA, Philippines — A fire hit the UP Town Center in Quezon City on Friday.

Arson probers said the fire at the mall along Katipunan Avenue in Barangay UP Campus broke out at around 12:12 p.m.

The blaze started in one of the restaurants on the third floor.Videos uploaded on Facebook showed smoke on the third floor of the building.

Firefighters doused the flames at around 12:24 p.m.

There were no casualties in the fire. Investigators have yet to determine the cause and estimated cost of damage to property.
