Ultra Lotto prize soars to P267 million

MANILA, Philippines — The jackpot in the Ultra Lotto 6/58 is expected to soar to P267 million for tonight’s draw, the Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced yesterday.

The PCSO said the lotto jackpot remains elusive. Nobody guessed the winning combination 41-52-36-53-49-15, which carried a total prize of P258,135,624.

Twelve bettors won a consolation prize of P120,000 each after picking five digits of the winning combination.

The PCSO said lotto winnings above P10,000 are subject to a 20 percent tax.

Last August, a bettor in Taytay, Rizal won the Ultra Lotto jackpot of P163.3 million.
